Great hotel for families

We spent almost a week with our 2 small kids at this hotel and it was a great and relaxing experience! The staff and owners are very friendly, the hotel has very good amenities (3 swimming pools, 3 minutes walk from nice beach, kid’s club) and the food buffets contains many delicious choices. The bedrooms were always very clean which is important for us. Whenever we needed anything, the team helped us in a heartbeat. Milano Marittima pedestrian zone with many bustling shops is only a short walk away and we enjoyed incredible ice cream along the way. Definitely a great choice for stays at the Adria!

Jewel on the beach

A perfect hotel for enjoying some quality time on the Adriatic coast. The staff are super friendly and can’t do enough to help thier quests. Rooms are on the smaller side as expected in Italy but the layout is well thought out with plenty of closet space, large fridge and safe with key (50 euro deposit). Rooms have a small balcony with a beautiful view over the beach. Breakfast is well presented with enough choice. What supprised us the most was the high level of cleanliness you would only expect by a 5 star hotel. If you are looking for a stress free holiday with lots of sand and sun, then we would highly recommend the Derby Hotel. We look forward to our next visit. D.R. Holder

Ironman stay

We stayed whilst participating in the nearby Ironman event and couldn’t have found a more friendly, helpful team of staff. The hotel is friendly and welcoming, the staff go out of their way to assist you. The food is absolutely amazing – a great selection buffet at breakfast and wonderful lunches and evening meals. We didn’t feel the need to eat elsewhere! The pool area is lovely and the hotel is also right next to the beach. Everything was brilliant – if we come back to the area we would certainly stay here again.
